INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA 
                         ''A TRUE DIMENSION''


Yoga is a healthy way to get fit without any problems. It derived from the Sanskrit word "YUJ" which means "to unite or integrate." It is a 5000 year old Indian body of knowledge, which aims to transform both body and mind. On December 11 
in 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 21st as the INTERNATIONAL DAY of YOGA. It is all about harmonizing the body with the mind and breath through the means of various breathing techniques, and meditation. Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition:
It embodies unity of mind and body.
Thought and action.
Restraint and fulfillment.
Harmony between man and nature. 
A holistic approach to health and well-being.


 

The idea of an International Yoga Day was first proposed by Narendra Modi during his speech at the UNGA, on September 27, 2014.

Asana is defined as “posture or pose; its literal meaning is “seat.” Originally, there was only one asana–meditation.Various type of Yoga Asana Slow Neck Stretches,Tadasana (Mountain Pose), Uttanasana (Standing ForwardFold Pose), Trikonasana(Triangle Pose), Dhanurasana (Bow Pose), Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutation), Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose) and many more.
